F Y I
Yo, what's up? This is Hal in Philly with another informative episode of Easy When You Know Hal.
So here's the thing. You may or may not know, I have two podcasts, okay? There's this one called Easy When You Know Hal and there's another one called Tales of the Road Warriors, which is my predominantly... it's an interview show where I talk to other musicians about being musicians, you know, just stuff, that happens, on the road.
My intention has always been to do the Tales of the Road Warriors every Thursday dropping it every Thursday, try to get it out, at least by midnight. Thursday night at the latest. And then start promoting it during the rest of the week. But it doesn't always work out that way. Sometimes, I just can't schedule an interview or there's times when I'm just a little burned out and I just can't get the episode out there. I'm also a working musician. So sometimes a gig will come up as a surprise and I have to take the gig. I need the money. Let's face it, this podcast is not paying for itself, unless you want to sponsor it. [email protected] - Write me, let me know you want to be a sponsor, and we'll talk.
But anyway, so I make my living playing music. So you never know when a gig's just going to pop up suddenly.
Because I had cancer in 2014. I, I've never really fully gotten my old energy back and I am 67 years old, so I'm not getting any younger. So there are just times when I don't have the energy to put out an episode every Thursday even though I fully intend to. So just just know that, and I hope you still look forward to when I upload a new one. So, I'm not going anywhere, just sometimes I'm late and I just want to kind of let you know that. So this week, I just put out a brand new Episode of Tales of the Road Warriors, where I talk about how I "discovered", quote unquote...David Bowie.
And then I got a couple episodes of Easy When You Know Hal coming up. And so that's that! I just wanted to make a quick announcement that I am still doing both podcasts and I hope you subscribe to both of them so that whenever I have a new one out, you are aware of it and can tune in and listen in your car, or with your earbuds in when you're doing the laundry or washing the car or washing the dog or taking a bath or however and whenever it is you listen to podcasts. So, you know, I hope I'm a part of your day, and hope to keep it that way for as long as I can.
That's it. Just remember Easy When You Know Hal!
